Chumby on FTDI cable
Do not listen to Adafruit, they want you to dismount the FTDI cable and change pin for the chumby, it’s much more simple to use 3 wires (M/F).
Warning, don’t let the pic fool you, I didn’t have yellow wire, but the green wire is on the yellow FTDI cable.
Chumby - FTDI
GND - Black on Black
Rx - Orange on Orange
Tx - Green on Yellow
Use minicom to get a terminal on linux or Mac os X.
sudo minicom -D /dev/tty.usbserial-A900gcFK -8 -b 115200 --noinit
